New York AG classifies FanDuel, DraftKings as 'illegal gambling'

An article in USA Today about New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman classifying daily fantasy sports as illegal gambling, and ordering both FanDuel and DraftKings to stop accepting wagers, quotes Nellie Drew, a UB sports law professor. “I think this is a huge blow for fantasy sports,” she said. “It will be interesting to see if other states follow New York’s lead, but to some extent, Nevada already has and I think others will, as well.” Drew also was interviewed on WIVB-TV.
