An article on National Geographic reports on the homes that have been built for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Solar Decathlon in Irvine, California, including UB’s GRoW Home. The article features three UB videos, including a computer-animated walk-through of the GRoW Home. In addition, an article on Solar Novus Today reports teams involving hundreds of students from colleges around the country, including UB, are racing to complete construction of their highly energy-efficient, solar-powered houses, and an article on Door & Window Market Magazine reports sales and installation experts from Pella worked with students from UB on building the house.
