Indian Ocean debris almost certainly from Boeing 777

Nancy Smyth, professor and dean of the School of Social Work, is quoted in a Reuters article about airplane debris that washed up on the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean and may be part of last year’s vanished Malaysia Airlines Flight 370. “If this is indeed debris from the jet, then it will provide families with much needed closure,” she said. The article appeared in news outlets around the world, including Yahoo! News, The Japan News, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Malaysia Star, India Today, Reuters UK, England’s Daily Mail and Bangkok Post.
