Antigay sentiment poses dilemma for Kenya ahead of Obama visit

An article in The Wall Street Journal interviews Makau Mutua, professor of law, about antigay sentiment in Kenya and the dilemmas it presents ahead of President Obama’s visit to that country. “There are politicians who for their own reasons want to demonize the West, but also want to demonize a sector of the society in Africa who are perceived to be friendly to the West,” he said.
