Steven Dubovsky, professor and chair of psychiatry in the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, is quoted in an article in USA Today about the shootings in the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina. “The community must support one another and seek professional help,” said Dubovsky, an expert on post-traumatic stress. “Reliving what happened in a controlled, private manner will be helpful.”
