Can black holes store info?

An article in England’s Daily Mail reports on a new theory about black holes that suggests that they can create copies of people and no one would notice if the Earth were swallowed by one, and quotes Dejan Stojkovic, associate professor of physics. “According to our work, information isn’t lost once it enters a black hole,” he said. “It doesn’t just disappear.” Articles also appeared on Capital Bay and Georgia Newsday.
