An article in the Buffalo News reports Luis Colon, professor of chemistry, was among 14 educators nationwide honored Tuesday with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring, presented by the National Science Foundation at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
