UB tries integrated approach to problems

An Associated Press article reports UB faculty members from different fields are getting together to tackle global challenges like health equity and sustainable manufacturing through its “Communities of Excellence,” a $25 million initiative that allows faculty members to work together on research, education and community engagement. The article notes that more than 300 faculty members from across UB are participating in the initiative.
