Hillary, Jeb take opposite tacks on family legacies

James E. Campbell, professor of political science, is quoted in an article in The Washington Times about the different tacks being taken by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and likely Republican contender Jeb Bush to address their families’ political legacies. “Both have huge amounts of baggage going into the election,” he said. “Like vice presidents as successor candidates, they have to walk a tightrope between inheriting the problems of their predecessors and appearing disloyal.”
