An article in England’s Daily Mail reports on a study by researchers at UB and Northwestern University that found that as people grow old and mature, they become more trusting of others. The article quotes Michael Poulin, associate professor of psychology, who said, “As we age, we may be more likely to see the best in other people and forgive the little letdowns that got us so wary when we were younger.” Articles also appeared on news outlets around the world, including Medical News Today, Capital Bay and KQAK-FM on Oregon.
