Innovation Trail aired an interview of Nancy Nielsen (which was conducted by Rochester NPR affiliate WXXI), senior associate dean for health policy in the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences about debate over the Affordable Care Act and demands from Republicans that the Medical Devices Tax be repealed. She said that the influx of around 30 million new health care consumers under the ACA will help offset the tax hike on medical device companies.
