An article in The New York Times about the benefits the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus is bringing to downtown Buffalo looks at UB’s contributions to transformation, including construction due to begin this fall on UB’s new, $375 million, 500,000-square-feet School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences building. The article also cites UB’s Clinical and Translational Research Center; the Metro Rail, which has its terminus at the UB South Campus; and the Western New York Regional Economic Development Council, which is co-chaired by UB President Satish K.
