An article in Forbes about UB alum Robin Li, founder of the successful Chinese search engine Baidu, interviews Sargur N. Srihari, director of UB's Center of Excellence for Document Analysis and Recognition, about Li, who worked as a graduate student for Srihari from 1992-94 on a research project funded by the U.S. Postal Service. Forbes visited UB over the summer to interview Srihari, who was one of Li's influential professors.
