The Buffalo News puts UB's new CTRC on the front page

A front-page article in the Buffalo News about UB's new Clinical and Translational Research Center on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus looks at the types of research that will be conducted there and quotes Timothy F. Murphy, director of the center and UB Distinguished Professor of Medicine; Michael Cain, vice president for health sciences and dean of the UB School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences; and John Canty, UB's chief of cardiovascular medicine. "If you look over the past 30 years, there have been spectacular advances in sciences," Murphy said. "But if you look at how, collectively, we have done at turning those advances into new drugs and treatments, it's not so good."
