An article in Prevention Magazine titled "8 Friends Every Woman Needs" suggests that women become good friends with their husbands' friends, and quotes the Research Institute on Addictions' director, Kenneth Leonard, PhD, who said, "Including your spouse in your network of friends is nearly as important for marital happiness as making them feel they are a part of your family." The article also appeared on Fox News.
