The Chronicle of Higher Education profiled Joan Linder, an assistant professor of visual studies, in the newspaper's "5 Minutes With" column. The column discusses Linder's work in UB's Gross Anatomy Laboratory, where she has taught figure drawing classes and completed drawings of cadavers. "I see quite a connection between the practice of life drawing and the practice of gross anatomy," Linder said. "Both are the study of the body with the unaided eye. One is looking inward, one is looking at the surface." The article appears both in print and online.
