Los Angeles Times: Election expert discusses presidential coattails

James E. Campbell, professor and chair of political science and an expert on presidential "coattails" is quoted in the Los Angeles Times in an article the impact endorsing either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton can have on politicians. "It certainly makes a difference. Somebody unpopular at the top of the ticket can actually cost you votes," he said.
