An article in The New York Times on college students and procrastination quotes Kelly H. Ahuna, director of UB's Methods of Inquiry program. "One of the main reasons for procrastination is self-doubt," she said. "Some students don't believe they can do it. And some students don't value what they're doing. Very often they are in the wrong major. We identify and work on those factors, almost like a checklist. If you find you can't bring yourself to open the textbook, what is the problem? Do you not see the worth of that course? Should you be changing your major?" Go to article.
