Media Advisory: Briefing about construction of UB’s School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences building will be held today at Conventus

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The largest medical education facility under construction in the U.S. has begun taking shape in downtown Buffalo, with construction personnel erecting steel at the site of the University at Buffalo’s new School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.

What, when, where: A briefing about the construction of UB’s new medical school and an opportunity to photograph the site will take place today at 1 p.m. on the sixth floor of the Conventus building, 1001 Main St., courtesy of Ciminelli Real Estate. Media should assemble in the Conventus lobby, using the High St. entrance, and will be escorted up to the sixth floor. Following the briefing, media will have an additional opportunity to photograph the site from a designated area at the corner of Main and High streets.
