BUFFALO, N.Y. – The University at Buffalo’s Office
of the Vice Provost for Educational Collaboration and Engagement
will sponsor a job opportunity and training forum on May 14.
“Pathways to Careers in the Medical Sector” will be
held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. in the University at Buffalo’s
Educational Opportunity Center, 555 Ellicott St., adjacent to the
UB Gateway Building in downtown Buffalo.
Cosponsors are the Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Investment
Board Inc., New York State Department of Labor and Buffalo Urban
The forum is designed to provide information about careers that
will result from the expansion of health care in Buffalo Niagara
and the education, training, recruitment and placement
opportunities that are available.
Industry leaders will be available to talk about health care
employment and projections for the future workforce needs. They
