BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience on Monday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre, located at the Center for the Arts, UB North Campus.

Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience will celebrate the life and music of his father, the legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham. As Bonham and his band, guitarist Tony Catania, vocalist James Dylan, bassist Michael Devin and keyboardist/pedal-steel guitarist Stephen LeBlanc, rock through Led Zeppelin's hallowed catalog, a state-of-the-art sound system and light show will enhance their live performance onstage.

As giant screens display art and Bonham's own historical video footage and photos set the mood. The band's powerful live performance of Led Zeppelin's classics takes concert-goers through a personal journey of Jason Bonham's past, in commemoration of his father, with the unforgettable blues-rock of Led Zeppelin in a stunning multimedia concert experience.

About their performance, Rolling Stone Magazine has said, "With state-of-the-art lighting and effects, dazzling video treatments and a crisp, thundering sound, Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience offered a set of Led Zep gems that were strikingly faithful to the originals." Highlights of the set include classics such as "Stairway to Heaven," "Whole Lotta Love," "Kashmir," "Dazed and Confused" and many others.

In a review of the band's performance from October 2010 the Minneapolis Star Tribune wrote, "The sound was big, booming, echo-y and dirty -- like vintage Zeppelin live. The band was loose, even a little sloppy -- like Led Zeppelin was. "Black Dog" sounded like a blast from the 70s. "When the Levee Breaks" had a great, strutting groove. As for drummer/bandleader Bonham, he was a percussive force, and his duets with his dad on film were suitably sentimental yet musically rewarding."

Tickets for Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience are $41.50 and $31.50. Tickets are available at the Center for the Arts Box Office (Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and all Ticketmaster locations, including ticketmaster.com.
