BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Center for the Arts at the University at Buffalo will present Blue Suede Christmas -- The Ultimate Elvis Holiday Bash on Dec. 12 at 8 p.m. in the Mainstage Theatre in the Center for the Arts on the UB North Campus.

Celebrate the "King" with the ultimate Elvis tribute show starring two of the world's finest Elvis impressionists. Mike Albert brings to life the Elvis of the '70s while Scot Bruce recreates the '50s Elvis. They will once again perform with the Big "E" Band. The concert will include Elvis' popular Christmas hits, and other favorites.

While pursuing music and acting as a career, Scot Bruce started doing a 1950s-era Elvis show as a way to survive the lean times. The result was a surprise to Bruce, as what was meant as a part-time "gig" blossomed into a full-time career. Because of his uncanny resemblance to the young "King" (and his ability to sing, strum a guitar and swivel his hips), his live show has taken him across the U.S. and all over the world and on countless television appearances.

Mike Albert's show has become known worldwide for the respectful portrayal of the later period Elvis Presley. He won several major world "Elvis" contests, and demand for his shows resulted in putting together a seven-piece Big "E" Band, to emulate the sound Elvis' band had in the Vegas shows and on tour. An appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show further exposed audiences to Albert's talent. He has toured across the U.S., Europe and as far as Australia and New Zealand at many large conventions and theaters. Albert's style and charisma and his ability to get the audience involved in the show have proven to be a crowd pleaser.
