UB Students Inducted into Communication Honor Society

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Twenty-five students in the Department of Communication in the School of Informatics at the University at Buffalo recently were inducted into the Nu Epsilon Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the national communication honor society.

In order to be inducted, students must have at least 60 semester hours of college credit, with a minimum of 12 semester hours in communication study, and a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0, with at least a 3.25 GPA in communication courses. Students must hold a position of good standing in the university, and by virtue of their scholarship and good works, have displayed a commitment to the field of communication.

The University at Buffalo is a premier research-intensive public university, the largest and most comprehensive campus in the State University of New York system. UB's more than 27,000 students pursue their academic interests through more than 300 undergraduate, graduate and professional degree programs. The university offers the only degrees in law, pharmacy and architecture in the SUNY system, and is the home of the only comprehensive public school of engineering and the only school of informatics in New York State.
