UB research demonstrates why "comfort food" is a good way to
describe this kind of nourishment. Hint: it's because of a specific
connection we make when we eat it.
A segment of ABC News’ show The Chew about new
twists on comfort food classics notes that a UB study found that
comfort food really does make people happier because when people
eat comfort food, they immediately think of their families. The
show appeared on television stations throughout the country,
including WCVB-TV in Boston.
