Kayla Geelan, of Springville, J. Scott Fleming Scholarship

Kayla Geelan is a junior mathematics education major. She is a community assistant in South Lake Village, student manager for University Print Services, photography manager for the Student Association, and a teacher's aide in the Buffalo Public Schools. Recently Geelan was on the planning committee for Stay-Up UB, which benefited the Hunter's Hope Foundation, and served on the FSA Board of Directors. Geelan has been an RA, orientation aide and peer mentor. She intends to become a teacher for adolescent education in math in New York State.
