Media Advisory: CNBC's Senior Economic Reporter to Speak at UB; Is Available for Media Interviews

Steve Liesman, a prominent figure on NBC and CNBC business programs and a University at Buffalo graduate, will give his insider's perspective on the country's changing economy during a free program to be held from 9-11 a.m. tomorrow (Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009) in the Center for Tomorrow on UB's North (Amherst) Campus.

Liesman will speak on "The Great Recession: What have we learned? Where are we going?"

He will be available for brief media interviews after his talk.

Liesman reports on all aspects of the economy, including the Federal Reserve Bank and major economic indicators. He also appears on "Squawk Box" as well as other NBC and CNBC programs throughout the business day.
