Arriving Late

Review the information below if you will arrive in the US after the first day of classes.

Know Your Arrival Deadline

New to UB orientation programs are required for all first-year and transfer undergraduate students. Program dates and arrival deadlines will be communicated to you by Orientation, Transition and Parent Programs.

In addition to required orientation, all new international students have regulatory arrival deadlines as well. Sometimes situations occur - such as travel issues and visa delays - that are outside of your control. Please review the information below if you will arrive in the U.S. after the first day of classes

If you do arrive late, you still must complete your entire International Student Check-in.
