When preparing to move labs or offices it is important to
remember that nothing should be left behind. Follow these best
practices when getting ready to move lab or office assets.
By following these best practices you can be sure that:
Complete the Inventory Data Change form or contact Asset Management directly with a list of the assets that are planning to be moved.
Laboratories and equipment in which hazardous material have been used must be decontaminated prior to vacating the space.
No items may be left in the hallway. Read more on the Corridor use Policy.
Assets that are transferred to another department should complete the Inventory Data Change form or contact Asset Management directly.
