Labor Condition Applications

A Labor Condition Application (LCA) is a document that is filed with the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Division incident to an H-1B visa petition.

Information in Labor Condition Application

From the application document you can find out the following:

  • The number of H-1B non-immigrants seeking to be employed
  • The occupational classification in which they will be employed
  • The wages offered
  • The period of employment
  • The location(s) of employment

In accordance with 20 CFR § 655. 734 (a)(1)(i), this is to provide you with notice of such filing and to inform you that:

“Complaints alleging misrepresentation of material facts in the labor condition application and/or failure to comply with the terms of the labor condition application may be filed with any office of the Wage and Hour Division of the United States Department of Labor.”
