Parents are very important supporters of students' international experiences. We encourage parents to browse the resources available on this site and to communicate with your student to better understand the process involved in studying abroad. The health and safety of students abroad is of utmost importance to the University at Buffalo and the Office of Study Abroad Programs.

All students and faculty or staff traveling abroad for University purposes or on University business are required to carry University-approved international health insurance.
