Three Pillars Catering

Operated by UB Campus Dining and Shops, Three Pillars Catering is the exclusive, on-campus food and beverage catering provider. They provide a variety of meal services ranging from drop off catering to full service events.

Service Options

Three Pillars Catering offers a variety of menu options to choose from. Please reference their catering guide when placing an order.

A food permit is not required when ordering through Three Pillars Catering. All other food and beverage vendors require a food permit.

Bars and Liquor Licensing

In order to serve alcohol at your event, the caterer must apply for a NYS Liquor License. Alcohol consumption is limited to the immediate premise of where it is being served. Please contact Three Pillars Catering for more information about alcohol service at your event.

Food Trucks

UB Campus Dining and Shops can provide food trucks at your event. If you are hosting an event with food trucks on campus, it is recommended to include Big Blue or Little Blue. All other food trucks require a food permit.

Please complete the food truck request form to book one of UB's food trucks. 

Service Details

When placing your order with Three Pillars Catering and reserving your event space, you should provide the following information:

  • What time can they arrive to start setting up?
  • What time does everything need to be set by?
  • Who is responsible for cleaning up and disposing of items at the end of your event? If Three Pillars needs to return for clean-up, what time can they arrive?
  • How will the room be set up and where will the food and beverages be placed/served from?
  • Do you need to order any additional tables (6ft rectangles, rounds, bistro tables, etc.)?
  • Do you need any linen for the above-mentioned tables?
  • Do they need a designated back-of-house area to prep food and storage?
  • Do you need a dedicated 20-amp electrical circuit for a hot box to keep food warm?
