You will learn the basics of Medical Billing & Coding procedures including:

  • Anatomy/Physiology
  • Microbiology
  • Patient Billing Computer Medisoft
  • Patient to Payment
  • Step by step medical coding
  • International Classification of Disease  (ICD9)
  • International Classification of Disease (ICD10)
  • Current Procedural Terminology
  • HCPCS (Healthcare Common Procedural Coding System)
  • Insurance Procedures

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Medical Records Specialists can expect a median annual wage of $47,270, or $22.73 per hour.
