Students will explore the use of a technology through a new biotech company, experiencing the translation process of converting a lab technology to a practical product used in daily life.

Project description

The Arany lab has utilized a platform technology using polymeric microspheres to precision engineer biological payload delivery. This technology was utilized in developing two products that have attracted significant commercial interest. Hence, a biotech company was launched in Fall 2018 and is currently in the process of product development. Students can participate and experience the translational process of converting a lab technology to a practical product used in daily life.
