The study aims to investigate how well English-speaking children between ages 3 and 5 are able to produce grammatical sentences in a picture description task.
The study aims to investigate how well English-speaking children between age 3 and age 5 are able to produce grammatical sentences in a picture description task. Percent grammatical sentences will be computed. Changes in percent grammatical sentences across ages will be evaluated. Results may assist clinicians in assessing children's development of grammatical skills.
The specific outcomes of this project will be identified by the faculty mentor at the beginning of your collaboration.

| Who is eligible | Undergraduate students majoring in linguistics, speech and hearing sciences, or closely related fields. Must have taken a course in child development, language development, or an equivalent. Applicant must demonstrate skills in grammatical analyses and working with children. |
