The October 2025 AI at UB Community Conversation brought together faculty, staff and students for an open discussion about academic integrity in the era of artificial intelligence. As AI becomes a larger part of teaching and learning, it raises new questions about trust, fairness, and responsibility in the classroom.
This event created space for faculty and students to share their perspectives on how AI is changing the academic experience. It offered an opportunity to learn from one another, hear how AI is being used across our academic community, and reflect on what integrity means in this evolving landscape.
Hosted collaboratively by the UB Faculty Senate, Student Association and Graduate Student Association, with support from the Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs, this event will provided an opportunity for faculty and students to share their perspectives on how AI is changing the learning environment.
