Registration is now open for the 16th Biennial International Transformative Learning Conference (ITLC 2026).

The Art of Co-Creating Change: Learning, Acting, and Transforming Collectively

Hosted by North Carolina State University, the conference will bring together scholars, educators, researchers and learning professionals from around the world to explore the transformative power of learning in addressing today’s complex social and global challenges.

Conference Dates

  • Preconference: Oct. 20, 2026
  • Main Conference: Oct. 21–23, 2026 | Raleigh, North Carolina
  • Online Conference: Nov. 5–6, 2026

Event information

The conference will feature keynote speakers, collaborative workshops, paper presentations and opportunities for dialogue focused on transformative learning, civic engagement, creativity and collective action.

Early bird registration is available through June 15, with discounted rates for students and ITLA members, as well as limited partial registration scholarships for ITLA-member presenters.
