A UB researcher has received a $2.7 million grant from the National Institute of Mental Health for a five-year study that explores the relationship between inflammation and social media use and their possible link to depression in vulnerable populations.

The Art of Research competition seeks to provide a stage for researchers from all disciplines to make their research accessible to broad public audiences.
This award is given to up-and-coming scholars, as well as earned the individual acclaim for their work, which could be a published work or other scholastic or artistic endeavor.
On May 24-28th, 2019, the 69thannual International Communication Association conference will be held in Washington, D.C. USA. This year, six UB COM papers have been accepted.
