Introduction to communication

Overview Background

Brian Reynolds is the director of the Communication 101 program. After previously teaching several courses for the department of communication (Public Speaking, Persuasion, Interpersonal Communication, Interviewing, Research Methods, Nonverbal Communication), Reynolds was appointed Director of Communication 101 in Fall 2003. His research interests includes interpersonal compliance, deception, and new communication technologies; particularly the way individuals adapt their interpersonal communication strategies to various communication contexts arising from new communication technology. Reynolds has also earned degrees in communication and psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
