What do I have to do?

Once UBbox is updated, you will need to log in again by visiting ubbox.buffalo.edu, and accepting the updated terms of use.

It is important to log into UBbox through a web browser first, in order to continue using Box's desktop apps like Box Drive and Box Sync, as well as Box's mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

If your Box apps are not working properly after you accept the new terms of use, you may have to reboot your device.

What is changing?

UBbox's terms of use aren't changing. Rather, UBbox is being updated to reflect the current terms of use, including
UB's policy regarding storage of restricted data in UBbox, which were last updated earlier in 2018.
