Daniel Heuskin (UB Student, Class of 2017) is originally from Long Island, NY. He is studying English at UB with aspirations to become a teacher or writer. In his free time, he enjoys playing bass guitar, doing nature photography, writing songs and reading.

As of October 26, 2016, there will be some changes to the way you connect to UB’s Admin VPN (Virtual Private Network) services.

UB Admin VPN customers will have to use a new address, vpn.buffalo.edu, in any program or app you are using (for example, Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client). The old address, adminvpn.buffalo.edu, will no longer work. Select "AdminVPN" or "Admin-OffCampus" from the group drop down menu.

Should you forget to connect to the new AdminVPN address, attempting to connect to the old server will bring up a pop-up message informing you of the change.

IP ranges will remain unchanged, customer management will continue as usual, and no changes to firewall policies will be necessary.

If you need help or have questions about the changes to UB’s Admin VPN, contact the UBIT Help Center at 716-645-3542 or www.buffalo.edu/ubit/help or stop by the Lockwood 2nd Floor Cybrary (North Campus) or Abbott 1st Floor Health Sciences Library (South Campus).
