Unlike the "Bring Your Kids to Work Day" seminar, Dr. Ullman's talk will focus primarily on PII (personally identifiable information) for adults. She will discuss the role of UB’s Information Security Office is and why it is important to keep your personal information secure.

Dr. Ullman encourages faculty and staff to bring questions. “Even if you have the best technology, you are your best defense, and asking questions ahead of time will help prevent future mistakes,” she added.

Anyone interested in attending this lecture is encouraged to register online. If your department would like to host a presentation on PII and information security, please email UB's Information Security Office at sec-office@buffalo.edu and they can tailor the content to your specific needs.
