If you’re new to UB, you’re probably very excited…and nervous. With three campuses to navigate, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, so it’s important to take advantage of helpful tools like the UB Mobile app.

Here are five of the most useful features that the UB Mobile app offers, which I used heavily after arriving at UB as a transfer student:   

Bus Tracker

UB Mobile’s Transportation Tracker allows you to follow UB shuttles and buses in real time. There is no reason to stand outside waiting in the freezing cold.   

Find Events

UB has over 30,000 undergraduates and there is always something to do around campus. Whether it’s Greek life, clubs, guest speakers, networking or athletic events, it’s easy to lose track of all the activities. UB Mobile organizes all of the events by category and allows you to search them as well.   

Get UB Athletics’ Scores and Tickets

Can’t make the Bulls game? UB Mobile displays the current scores of all live games, and makes it easy to order tickets online.   

Access MyUB & HUB Student Center

MyUB is a one-stop destination for all aspects of your UB life, and UB Mobile makes it easily accessible on your mobile device. MyUB is also the only way to currently access HUB Student Center.  

Dining Options

There are dozens of great dining options available across UB’s campuses, but you might only see a handful on your regular route. Before you resign yourself to burritos for every lunch, take a look at the various locations and menus. This feature is particularly helpful if you have food allergies.
