There is no cost to see any of the health care providers at Student Health Services (however, there may be a charge for immunizations, labwork and other services, depending on your health insurance).

One Appointment Per Day

Patients are limited to one appointment per day with a physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

What to Bring to Your Appointment

  1. Your UB ID Card: The receptionist will use this card during the check-in process.
  2. Your health insurance card: Have the original, a copy, or a photo of the card on your phone. Please contact your health insurance company prior to your appointment to determine the preferred laboratory and pharmacy. If you do not have health insurance, you can still see one of our health care providers.
Worried About Your Privacy?

If you’re worried about your parents and family finding out, contact your health insurance company and ask that any “Explanation of Benefits” that involve you as patient be sent directly to you and not to your parents’ address. The “Explanation of Benefits” is a health insurance claim/payment statement that may list the specific types of lab tests and other care that you receive.
