Associate for Institutional Research
Melinda has been with the Office of Institutional Analysis since 2017. She serves as UB’s Academic Analytics liaison. Areas of interest include retention modeling with engagement data, survey design and analysis, bibliometric analysis and STEM student and course analysis. She is currently a National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) Data Institute Fellow and has presented at the Association of Institutional Researchers (AIR), SUNY-Association of Research and Planning Officers (AIRPO), American Educational Research Association (AERA), National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST) and the European Science Education Research Association (ESERA).
Melinda is a graduate of the University at Buffalo, Niagara University and SUNY Brockport. She is current the treasurer of SUNY AIRPO.
