UB is home to 20 NCAA Division I athletic programs that compete in the Mid-American Conference, with the exception of women’s rowing, which competes in the Colonial Athletic Association. The UB Bulls play some of the top football programs in the nation, and UB’s rugby team hosted the 2011 national championships. Our women’s rowing team won a conference title in 2010.

UB has more than a dozen residence halls, along with five campus apartment communities. On-campus living puts you at the heart of university life, making it easier to get to class, study and meet new people. Our residential dining centers, food courts and snack shops suit every taste.

UB’s North Campus in suburban Amherst houses most of our
core undergraduate programs. Our South Campus is nestled in
Buffalo’s University Heights neighborhood, and our Downtown
Campus is home to cutting-edge medical research. A shuttle system
links all three, making it easy to get around.
