This lecture will provide an overview of the evolution of the federal definition of Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), description of some notable cases of RCR violations, ways in which such violations are managed (including UB's process for dealing with allegations of research misconduct), and some case discussions that highlight the lecture content.
