Substance Use in Reservists Social and Environmental Influences

Researchers will examine changes in substance use and relationship functioning in couples in which one person is a member of the U.S. Army Reserve. 

This five-year grant will examine changes in substance use and relationship functioning in 400 couples in which one person is a member of the US Army Reserve.  It will consider the influence of social network (e.g, intimate partner, peers) and environmental (e.g., stress, trauma) factors on changes over time.
