Addiction Treatment Services

ATS counselor.

Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) is an outpatient clinic providing treatment for individuals with alcohol and substance use disorders. The treatment facility is located within CRIA.

ATS, established in 1990, is certified by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and is the only treatment program in the state designed specifically for addiction research. Clinical research trials, many funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), are conducted at ATS. Individual, state-of-the-art treatment is provided on an outpatient basis.

Am I eligible for treatment?

  • Do you have a problem with alcohol or marijuana?
  • Are you 18 years or older?
  • Are you seeking treatment on your own (meaning you are not mandated to treatment by the legal system [DWI])?

Call 716-887-2387 for eligibility screening and to hear about our ongoing clinical trials.

Who provides treatment at ATS?

The multidisciplinary ATS staff is licensed, certified and from the fields of psychology, social work, medicine, nursing and addiction counseling. Clients are assigned to a counselor and their treatment team will include a psychologist and other staff as appropriate.

This collaborative team approach allows ATS to provide comprehensive services that best meet the needs of our patients.
