The English degree is combinable with other degree programs, often allowing students to work toward two degrees at the same time, thus saving both time and money.

  • The BA/MA program allows qualified UB undergraduates to begin work on their MA during their senior year, earning both degrees in just 5 years total.
  • UB Teach is an accelerated, combined degree program for students interested in becoming elementary or high school English teachers.  The program allows students to earn an English BA and a English Education EdM in just 5 years total.
  • English/Law 3+3 Accelerated BA/JD allows students to earn both an MA and a JD in just 6 years total
