The tragic tour bus crash last Friday on the New York State Thruway in Pembroke resulted in a massive emergency and medical response from first responders and providers throughout Western New York, including many UB physicians, most of whom practice under the UBMD Physicians’ Group.

In meetings sponsored by the U.S. State Department, two UB researchers recently spoke with a delegation from the Republic of Georgia about U.S.-China relations during meetings held last month at the International Institute of Buffalo.

UB on the Green, UB’s free, outdoor performance series, is back for a 17th season on July 23.

“Anderson Inside Out,” the UB Anderson Gallery’s annual summer celebration, will take place from noon to 4 p.m. July 12 at the gallery, One Martha Jackson Place, Buffalo.

Since 2008, student volunteers from the School of Management’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program have prepared more than 11,200 tax returns, bringing nearly $14 million back into the region. Now, the program is being recognized nationally as a nominee for the IRS Pacesetter Award.
